Decizion LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect Personal Information when you visit our website, use Decizion Reporting, or engage our IT services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.
1. Scope This Policy applies to our website and customer portals; our applications and integrations (including optional connection to Intuit QuickBooks Online); and professional services we provide to business customers. This Policy does not cover third-party services you access (e.g., Intuit QuickBooks Online, cloud providers). Those are subject to their own policies and terms.
2. Information We Collect We may collect information you provide directly (contact and account data; support communications; billing details), information collected automatically (device and usage data; authentication logs; cookies), and information from third-party services with your authorization (company profile, chart of accounts, customers, vendors, items; transaction data; balances; metadata; reports permitted by your chosen scopes).
3. Legal Bases (where applicable) If you are in the EEA/UK, we process Personal Information under Contract, Legitimate Interests, Consent, and Legal Obligation.
4. How We Use Information We use information to provide, operate, and secure the Services; authenticate users; process integrations (e.g., QBO syncing); respond to inquiries; analyze usage; send service-related communications; and comply with laws and contracts. We do not sell Personal Information.
5. Data Sharing & Disclosure We may share information with service providers; integration partners at your direction (e.g., Intuit QBO); professional advisors; legal authorities; and in business transfers. Recipients must implement appropriate safeguards and use data only for authorized purposes.
6. International Transfers If we transfer Personal Information across borders, we use lawful transfer mechanisms and appropriate safeguards.
7. Security We employ reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect Personal Information. No system is 100% secure; you are responsible for safeguarding credentials and tokens.
8. Data Retention We retain Personal Information only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law, contracts, or audit obligations. Upon termination or your request, we may delete or anonymize data, subject to legal holds.
9. Your Rights Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to or restrict processing, port data, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint. Requests can be sent to support@decizion.io. We may need to verify identity.
10. California & U.S. State Privacy Notices Residents of California and other states may have additional rights to know, access, delete, correct, and opt out of targeted advertising or sharing. We do not sell Personal Information. Submit requests via our contact email.
11. Children’s Privacy The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from them.
12. Cookies & Analytics We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions and security; measure usage; and remember preferences. You can manage cookies via browser settings; disabling may limit functionality.
13. Intuit QuickBooks Online Integration When you connect your QBO environment, you authenticate with Intuit to grant scopes; we receive tokens and permitted data; we use data solely to provide features and support; you can revoke access via Intuit or by contacting us; Intuit’s terms and privacy policy govern your use of QBO.
14. Data Processor/Controller Roles For our app and integrations, we typically act as a processor for business customers; for website analytics, marketing, and account management, we may act as a controller. Roles may vary by feature and contract. A Data Processing Addendum is available upon request.
15. Changes to This Policy We may update this Policy periodically. The Last Updated date indicates the latest changes. Continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Policy.
